The creation of an Embodied Soul vessel is a journey we take together. These pieces are more than clay; they are intentional sanctuaries designed to hold the essence of a loved one, a transition, or a sacred memory.

By weaving elements of your story—or the physical ashes of those missed—into the earth before it meets the fire, we create a tactile connection to what is eternal.

Because this work requires my full presence and a deep state of reverence, I work on only a few commissions at a time, ensuring each vessel is held with the respect it deserves.

The Path to Creation

  • 1. The Connection Reach out via the inquiry form below. We will begin with a gentle conversation—either via email or phone—to discuss your vision, the story of your loved one, and the feeling you wish the vessel to evoke.

  • 2. The Gathering Once we decide to move forward, you will send a small amount of sacred remains or elements (such as ashes or earth from a significant place) to my studio. I will provide you with clear instructions on how to do this safely and respectfully.

  • 3. The Making In the quiet of the studio, I work the elements into the clay body. This is a slow, fluid process where the piece is hand-formed and allowed to dry naturally before being fired in the kiln.

  • 4. The Return Once the piece has emerged from the final fire, I will carefully package your vessel and return it to you. Any remaining elements that were not used in the clay will be returned to you with the finished work.

Additional considerations

  • Timeline: "Due to the slow nature of ceramic drying and firing cycles, please allow 6–8 weeks for completion."

  • Safety: "I treat all sacred remains with the highest level of care. My studio is a smoke-free, intentional space where your loved one is honored throughout the entire stay."

  • Inclusions: "While ashes are the most common inclusion, I can also work with hair, sand, or earth from a place of deep meaning."
